The Hub

A community focused initiative aimed at providing a link between Africycle and our community (Uxbridge). The Hub is a place to learn about Africycle, volunteer your time, or to support the work Africycle does in creative ways.  At the Hub, we refurbish a portion of the bicycles we receive for sale here in Canada.  These bikes are fully reconditioned by staff and/or volunteers in an effort to help offset administration costs for Africycle.

YOU can be a part of the Hub.  Do your community service hours at the Hub, or you can help pack shipments of bicycles for Malawi.  For those people who want to support Africycle and desire to help out, working on bikes is only one part of what we do at the Hub.  The Hub is the Africycle headquarters where we plan all of our activities both in Canada and in Malawi.  GET INVOLVED!

Check out our 'what you can do' tab to see how you can participate in the work Africycle is doing.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
