Mechanical Training Programs

Africycle has extensive experience training individuals in bicycle repair and maintenance.We offer both beginner and advanced mechanical training to equip individuals and organizations with a greater capacity to keep bikes in good shape and functioning for their intended use.

We are proud to offer specifically designed training programs that allow you to equip staff and volunteers in with the tools and skill sets needed to perform almost mechanical repair you come across.

Training programs include:

2 Day Introductory Course

A 2 day introductory course that equip individuals with the ability to maintain and repair their bicycle. This course can be provided at Africycle’s training facility in Zomba or we are able to bring the program to wherever your organization may work. This course is designed to help individuals address mechanical failures and repairs on the go, and anywhere they may break down. A truly valuable skill that helps keep these valuable vehicles going.

3 Week Professional Technician Course

Africycle offers a 3 week professional course that will equip individuals with a professional tool set and complete understanding of bicycles mechanics. Individuals will learn complex repair and maintenance practices and gain valuable and employable skills.
